man, I hate rubix cubes...I ain't good on those kind of puzzles XD
Most people who solves them simply follow and memorize algorithms. I can solve one side and the first two layers on my own, but I didn't bother to look at algorithms for the third layer or algorithms for speed cubing yet.
There's a set way of doing the cube.
Theoretically, no matter how "messed up" the thing is, you're always the same number of steps away from the solution when you first start to solve it.
meredith...i cant believe u actually brought the cube to pe. ur PATHETIC!!
@ ZA: My question, does it really matter that she brought the cube to your PE class? What I'd say is to quit flaming Meredith, you know. It gets annoying reading all these posts of you trying to insult her and all.
@ Meredith: I don't see anything wrong with taking some time trying to figure out some sort of puzzle. I'm always amuzed whenever people are able to solve the rubix cube in little more than 30 seconds. It's amazing, and, for people like me, who don't exactly like working on puzzles like those, seems to be impossible, but it IS possible.
It's a good thing to keep practicing the rubix cube. It's good mind work, since you would have to think of the patterns to solve it. Maybe even figure out what Zappedbythunder said about algorithms, something I won't be able to understand untill I look it up on wikipedia or something XD
"Almight apprentice of a non-existent god from a stupid game", I could care less if you know that I'm insulting you. Actually, it's nice that you know that's what I'm doing.
With that in mind, the Rubix cube comes in several different types. 2x2 all the way up to 5x5. The algorithms for solving a Rubix Cube slightly differ for each type.
"Asuran", the way to do it is this: Think of the cube as a bunch of layers. Solve each layer at a time. It's not hard to find out how, just look up "rubix cube" or "rubik's cube" on google or wikipedia, and you can find out how to solve it. That is, if you are unlike me, in that you care.

Also, I bring my cube to PE too.
